The 931 series offers direct vent (DV) units that are ideal for commercial business such as restaurants and hair salons that have contaminants in the air. The N-0931M is for indoor/outdoor use. The N-0931M-DV is for indoor use only.  *NOTE: Some states require potable water heaters to have ASME Certification. Please check all local and state codes pertaining to this device BEFORE ordering.
